Terms of Use

These Terms of Use set out the general rules for accessing and using IRAQIVA, including accounts, business profiles, published content and platform services.

Last updated: September 2026

1. Acceptance of the Terms

By accessing or using IRAQIVA, you agree to comply with these Terms of Use and applicable laws. If you create an account or publish information on the platform, you are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide is accurate and that your use of the service complies with these Terms.

2. About IRAQIVA

IRAQIVA is a digital business and professional network designed to help users discover and connect with businesses, professionals and services linked to the Iraqi community in Europe. The platform may evolve over time and new services or features may be introduced.

3. Accounts and eligibility

Users who create an account must provide accurate information and keep their account details reasonably up to date. You are responsible for protecting your login credentials and for activity carried out through your account. Accounts must not be created using another person's identity without authorisation.

4. Business and professional profiles

Users may create profiles for businesses or professional activities that they own, operate, represent or are otherwise authorised to manage. Information submitted for publication may become publicly visible and may be indexed by search engines.

5. Accuracy of information

Users are responsible for the accuracy, legality and completeness of the information they submit. IRAQIVA may review, request changes to, reject, unpublish or remove information that appears inaccurate, misleading, unlawful, incomplete or inconsistent with the purpose of the platform.

6. Verification

IRAQIVA may offer verification processes intended to help confirm certain information about a business or professional activity. Verification does not constitute a guarantee, certification, recommendation or endorsement of the quality, reliability, financial condition or conduct of a business or professional. Verification status is independent from paid subscriptions or promotional services and is not sold as an advertising benefit.

7. User content

You remain responsible for content you submit, including descriptions, images, logos, contact information and other materials. By submitting content for publication, you grant IRAQIVA the rights reasonably necessary to store, display, format and distribute that content as part of operating and promoting the platform and the relevant profile.

8. Prohibited use

Users must not use IRAQIVA for unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, abusive or harmful purposes. This includes impersonation, publishing information without appropriate rights, attempting to compromise platform security, sending malicious content, manipulating verification systems or using the service in a way that infringes the rights of others.

9. Intellectual property

The IRAQIVA name, platform design, software, original content and associated branding may be protected by intellectual property rights. Users retain rights in content they lawfully own. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of IRAQIVA intellectual property to users.

10. Third-party businesses and services

IRAQIVA helps users discover and contact independent businesses and professionals. Unless expressly stated otherwise, IRAQIVA is not a party to transactions, contracts or agreements made between users and listed businesses or professionals. Users should make their own assessment before entering into a transaction or professional relationship.

11. Paid services

IRAQIVA may introduce paid subscriptions, promotional visibility, advertising or other premium services. The price, duration, renewal conditions, included features and any specific cancellation rules will be presented before a user purchases a paid service. Additional commercial terms may apply to those services.

12. Moderation and suspension

IRAQIVA may moderate content and may restrict, suspend, unpublish or terminate accounts or profiles where reasonably necessary to protect users, enforce these Terms, comply with legal requirements, prevent abuse or maintain the integrity and security of the platform.

13. Availability and changes

IRAQIVA aims to provide a reliable service but does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. Features may be modified, temporarily unavailable or discontinued as the platform develops, including for maintenance, security, legal or technical reasons.

14. Limitation of responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law, IRAQIVA is not responsible for decisions made solely on the basis of information published by independent users, businesses or professionals, nor for transactions or relationships concluded directly between them. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

15. Privacy and personal data

The processing of personal data through IRAQIVA is described in the Privacy Policy. Users who publish personal data relating to other individuals are responsible for ensuring that they have an appropriate legal basis or authorisation to do so.

16. Account closure

Users may request closure of their account subject to applicable legal, security and record-retention requirements. Certain information may need to be retained where required by law or reasonably necessary for security, dispute resolution or enforcement purposes.

17. Applicable law

The final provisions concerning applicable law, jurisdiction and the identity of the platform operator will be completed before commercial launch based on the legal entity operating IRAQIVA and applicable mandatory rules.

18. Changes to these Terms

These Terms of Use may be updated as IRAQIVA develops, introduces new services or responds to legal, commercial or technical requirements. The latest version will be published on this page.

IRAQIVA is still in development. These Terms of Use are a working version and must be reviewed before commercial launch to reflect the final legal entity, pricing model, subscriptions, payment services, consumer and business rules, dispute procedures and other services actually offered by the platform.
